Hi family,
I pray everyone is doing well in Jesus name! The Lord has been more than kind… words cannot even describe the amount of things the Lord has doing not only externally but inside of my heart. I am overflowing with gratitude and I am truly just seeing the Lord’s redemptive power crashing through.
This week’s theme was THE GOSPEL and the power that comes forth when we preach the gospel. This week I feel brought so much deliverance because it really confronted different religious ideologies that I didn’t even know that I had. The beauty of the good news leads to a life of gratitude and peace, in which I realized I had been lacking because the revelation of the Lord’s love had not yet taken root in my heart. Daily, we are learning more and more of the height, width, depth and length of the Lord’s love and will be learning for all of eternity, but I realized that I had still been striving and feeling as if I had to do certain things in order to be loved by God… when in all reality the gospel is a free gift, freely given, and we can only give out agape love if we first receive the Lord’s love!
This past Wednesday, we had our first outreach on college campuses in which we get sent out to many different schools in the SoCal area and evangelize. This was such a wonderful way to not only get rid of the fear of man, but to also see the power of the gospel hitting those that either have walked away from the Lord or have never even heard of the gospel. There were over 200 gospel seeds (the amount of times we were able to share the good news) and there were 9 salvations! The Lord is truly doing something so so beautiful and it is such a blessing to be apart of and witness. I am so grateful.
On Thursday we headed to Pirate’s cove and witnessed many of our classmates getting baptized for the first time, or rededicating their life to Jesus at the legendary beach where revival sparked during the Jesus revolution. This moment was so marking as I just felt the Lord showing what pure joy and fun looks like. As a school we danced, laughed, and swam and gave God glory as many came to new life and we enjoyed the privilege of being new creations in Christ.
I also had the opportunity to play in a church basketball league, which for me was so so freeing. If you know anything about my story, then you would know that I used to play basketball for over 10 years of my life until I got injured and the Lord called me into full-time ministry. So, having the opportunity to be able to play in a co-ed league just for fun and unto the glory of God has been even more healing. We lost yesterday lol, but I had such a blast.
This experience up to this point has been so so life changing, and I am overflowing with such gratitude, words can’t even express. I just wanted to update you all, and say thank you to everyone who has been supporting prayerfully and financially. *quick side note: for those that have been asking how they can partner monthly with the ministry, I finally updated the donations page on the website in which you can become a partner via the donations page!
I love you guys and can’t wait to testify even more about the goodness of the Lord and all that He is doing!
Talk soon!
Yours in Christ,
Rachael Niles
